    Good Afternoon, Earith and Needingworth District Members –

     
    Here is our weekly summary of offences and incidents affecting your community, reported to police during the period 13th to 20th November:

     
    Covid Regulations – Police have continued to receive reports of possible Covid Regulation breaches across the County in the last week. Officers are making regular patrols across Huntingdonshire to ensure that lockdown regulations are being complied with.

     
    Bluntisham Heath Road, Colne – Hare-coursers in a blue Subaru Impreza became stuck in a farm gateway trying to get back onto the highway at Bluntisham Heath Road on Sunday afternoon, 15th November. After ramming the gate they lifted it off its hinges and threw it aside, before driving off in the direction of St Ives, leaving behind damage to crops in the field as well as to the gateway. A police patrol searched the area but no race of the vehicle could be found, however, Countryside Watch were notified of the incident. (Ref 35/77754/20)

     
    Earith – A police patrol searched around Earith for an electric scooter being ridden by three teenagers at speed and without helmets, on Sunday afternoon, 15th November. Unfortunately, no trace could be found. (Ref CC-15112020-0198)

     
    Bluntisham Heath Road / Somersham Road – Police were called to a collision between two cars at the crossroads on Thursday evening, 19th November. Fortunately no-one was hurt but one car was left immobilised in the middle of the road, causing an obstacle to traffic for a time until recovery was arranged. (Ref CC-19112020-0351)
     
     
    Police Appeal for Witnesses:
     
    Police are still appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision on the at Houghton Hill, Wyton, at around 1:30pm on Wednesday 11th November, in which a blue Vauxhall Corsa collided with a cyclist.

    Anyone who saw the collision, or the car or cyclist in the moments leading up to it, is asked to contact the police using the 101 non-emergency number or the reporting tool on the police web-site, quoting Incident 207 of 11th November.
