Can you help? Appeal after serious collision

Dear Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision between two motorbikes in Peterborough yesterday.

A Blue Yamaha MT-03 motorcycle was being ridden in Stanham Way, near Cardea, at about 5.20pm yesterday (31 August), when the rider was involved in a head-on collision with a black BMW S1000 motorbike.

The rider of the Yahama motorbike - a 19-year-old man from Peterborough - suffered serious, life-threatening injuries.

The rider of the BMW motorbike - a 32-year-old man from London - suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Both men were taken to Peterborough City Hospital, where they remain this morning (1 September). 

An investigation has been launched and anyone with any information, including dash cam footage, is urged to report this online or by calling 101, quoting Op Michigan or incident 321 of 31 August.
