Good Afternoon, Upwood and The Raveleys District Members –

Here is our weekly summary of offences and incidents affecting your community, reported to police during the period 3rd to 10th March:

Wyton-on-the-Hill – Police are investigating a report of a dog dangerously out of control at a park at Wyton-on-the-Hill on Saturday lunchtime, 6th March. The dog reportedly came running across to a family group and jumped up at a young child, knocking them over and leaving scratches on their face. It had to be physically pulled away by its owner. And Finally – A Warning About Catalytic Converter Thefts:

Police have issued a warning about catalytic converter thefts, following 40 incidents being reported across the County in the last month:

“In less time than it takes to make a cup of tea, they’ll go onto a driveway and strip the vehicle of the precious metal and be on their way to the next victim.

“Toyotas and Hondas have predominantly been targeted, but other vehicles including Lexus, Mercedes, Mazda and Volkswagen have also been singled out".
