    Good Afternoon, Warboys and Bury District Members –

     
    Here is our weekly summary of offences and incidents affecting your community, reported to police during the period 7th to 15th December:

     
    Grove Way, Bury – CCTV caught images of two suspects damaging the wing mirror of a black BMW car whilst walking along Grove Way on Sunday morning, 6th December. (Ref 35/82860/20)

     
    Upwood Road, Bury – Police responded to a report of intruders entering a construction site on Upwood Road, Bury, in the early hours of Friday 11th December. One vehicle was seen entering the site after security fencing had been moved out of the way. Officers checked the site but apart from the moved fencing nothing suspicious was found. The area between the site and Ramsey was searched but no sign of the suspect vehicle could be found. (Ref CC-11122020-0022)

     
    Redebourn Lane, Bury – Police searched the area around Redebourn Lane towards Biggin Lane following a report of a male wearing a balaclava helmet and carrying a backpack trying to get through a fence onto the disused RAF Upwood site, on Saturday afternoon, 12th December. Unfortunately no trace of him could be found. (Ref CC-12122020-0265)

     
    Orchard Close, Warboys – Both number plates were stolen from a blue Nissan car left parked near its owner’s house on Orchard Close at some time between Monday 7th and Monday 14th December. (Ref 35/84476/20)

     
    Church Road, Warboys – Police have received a report of two headstones in the churchyard on Church Road being damaged at some time between Monday 7th and Monday 14th December. One heavy marble headstone was broken in two, and a second headstone was uprooted and pushed over. (Ref 35/84722/20)

     
    Warboys Airfield Industrial Estate – Intruders broke into a unit on the Airfield Industrial Estate and damaged a Mercedes car that was left parked inside, at some time overnight on Monday 14th / Tuesday 15th December. A fork-lift truck inside the unit was also interfered with, but it is not thought that anything was stolen. (Ref 35/84658/20)

     
    Broughton – Police have received a report of intruders entering a barn in a farm yard in Broughton and forcing open the door to a trailer being stored inside, at some time overnight on Tuesday 15th / Wednesday 16th December. At the moment it is not known if anything was stolen. (Ref 35/84895/20)
