  • Weekly Policing Update - Earith and Needingworth District

    Alert message sent 06/12/2020 14:29:00

    Information sent on behalf of Cambridgeshire Constabulary

    Good Afternoon, Earith and Needingworth District Members –

    Happily, there are no offences or incidents affecting your community to mention in our summary this week, covering the period 29th November to 5th December.

    However, here is a reminder about the changes to the Covid-19 regulations that will be in force over the Christmas period:

    Covid Restrictions over Christmas:

    The Tier-2 Restrictions that now cover the whole of Cambridgeshire will be relaxed over the Christmas period from 23rd to 27th December. During these 5 days it will be possible to form a ‘Christmas Bubble’ made up of a limited number of friends and family.

    There are three main rules about Christmas Bubbles:

    • You can only be in one Christmas Bubble;

    • You cannot change your Christmas Bubble;

    • Your Christmas Bubble must not include people from more than 3 households.

    Full details are on the Government website at –

    As always, if you have information relating to any offence, or are concerned about any suspicious activities, please contact police by using any of these methods:

    • the '101' non-emergency telephone number;

    • the on-line web-chat tool on the new Cambridgeshire Constabulary web-site - click on the green icon;

    • Alternatively, you can use 'Crimestoppers' to make a report anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or by using their on-line contact form.

    In an emergency, or if you witness a crime in progress, always use '999'.
