    Good Afternoon, Upwood and The Raveleys District Members –

     
    Here is our weekly summary of offences and incidents affecting your community, reported to police during the period 23rd to 29th November:

     
    Covid-19 Update - Post-Lockdown Tier Announcement:
     
    The Government has announced that the whole of Cambridgeshire will be in Tier-2 Restrictions, the ‘High Alert’ Level, following the ending of the second lockdown on Wednesday, 2nd December. This means that households cannot mix indoors and the ‘Rule of Six’ applies outdoors.

    A141 Wyton Roundabout – Police were called to a collision between a delivery lorry and a car on the Wyton roundabout on Wednesday evening, 25th November. Fortunately no-one was hurt but one lane was closed for a time until recovery services arrived and debris had been cleared. (Ref CC-25112020-0318)

     
    High Street, Upwood – Police were called to a disturbance on High Street, Upwood, on Thursday afternoon, 26th November, where two males were allegedly brandishing metal poles in the street. Investigations are continuing. (Ref 35/80386/20)

     
    RAF Upwood – Police responded to a report of a large group of people trespassing in the derelict buildings on the disused RAF Upwood site on Saturday evening, 28th November. The group dispersed as officers arrived at the scene. There was also a report of a battery unit for an electric fence having been stolen. (Ref 35/80916/20)

     
    A141 Hartford Roundabout – Police were called to an incident at the Hartford roundabout in the early hours of Sunday 29th November, where a single car had lost control and overturned in a ditch. One person was taken to hospital whilst recovery services were called to tow the car away. (Ref CC-29112020-0053)
