    Anti-social behaviour injunction placed on Ramsey woman
    A woman from Ramsey has been handed an anti-social behaviour injunction banning her from entering the town.

    Marissa Maine, 45, was issued the injunction at Peterborough County Court today (23 July) following an application by Chorus Homes, in partnership with Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Huntingdonshire District Council.

    Meat thief pulled knife on shop staff
    A man stole meat from a Peterborough shop and pulled out a knife when confronted by staff.

    Jack Stevens, 26, went to the branch of B&M in Boongate on 14 January and began filling a carrier bag with meat worth about £24.

    Jail for man who made threats to kill
    A man who grabbed his partner by the hair and threatened to kill her has been jailed for two months.

    Constantin Ion, 48, shouted, “what are you doing there? I am going to kill you tonight”, at the home they shared in Bamber Street, Peterborough, on 27 May.

    Bike and tent thief recalled to prison
    A man who stole a bicycle and a tent has been recalled to prison.

    Daniel Butler, 32, was arrested in Gresley Way, Peterborough, at about 10.30pm on Sunday (21 July) after he was spotted on CCTV leaving Go Outdoors in Saville Road.

    Appeal following spate of arsons in Gunthorpe
    Officers are appealing for information following six arsons in and around the John Clare recreation ground in Gunthorpe.

    It is believed the fires were all started deliberately, causing damage to the grassland in the park before being brought under control by the fire service.

    Fraud warning as Peterborough residents targeted
    We are urging members of the public to be vigilant following a number of reports of fraud in Peterborough.

    Since April there have been nine reports of the same nature, with four offences having taken place in July.
