    Good Afternoon, Warboys and Bury District Members –

     
    Here is our weekly summary of offences and incidents affecting your community, reported to police during the period 19th to 25th July:

     
    High Street, Warboys – A police patrol was dispatched to Warboys in the early hours of Monday 22nd July following a report of two intruders seen in the back gardens of properties along the High Street. Officers searched the area and conducted patrols throughout the night, but no-one suspicious was found. (Ref CC-22072019-0027)

     
    Humberdale Way – Police searched the area around Humberdale Way on Monday afternoon, 22nd July, following a report of an off-road motorbike seen being ridden around the area. However, despite spending some time searching, no bike was found. (Ref CC-22072019-0321)

     
    School Road, Warboys – Thieves stole the number plate from a trailer whilst it was parked on School Road, Warboys, at around 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening, 23rd July. (Ref 35/52540/19)

     
    And Finally…Hot Weather Advice from the Police and the NHS
     
     
    As I’m sure you are only too aware, this has been the hottest week of the year so far with record-breaking temperatures. Lovely though the sunshine can be, it brings with it opportunities for burglars and also poses health risks to the elderly and vulnerable.
     
    Cambrideshire Police have advice about how to prevent burglaries in hot weather on their web-site at:
