We are investigating the following crimes that have been reported in the last 24 hours. This is not an exhaustive list of crimes that we are investigating but ones we would like to make you aware of and require further information on.
Babraham – London Road
Theft from motor vehicle has taken place overnight from a layby between 6pm on 27/11/18 and 4am this morning, unknown person(s) have stolen a quantity of diesel from a lorry that was parked at the location.
Hauxton – Cambridge Road
Theft from motor vehicle has taken place on Tuesday 27/11/18 at the former Waste Treatment Facility between 2-3pm, unknown person(s) have smashed driver’s side window to a works van and stolen a dash camera from inside.
Criminal damage to another van at above location, owner found a hole drilled into the rear doors –no entry gained and nothing stolen.
Hauxton – Church Road
Criminal damage to a motor vehicle took place during the day at a site car park for new housing at the above location where unknown person(s) have tried to gain entry to a vehicle causing considerable damage to both the front doors and rear door, no entry gained and nothing stolen.
Theft from Fitness centre at above location took place in the morning at 11.25 where a vehicle was seen to stop and occupants seen to pick up a jack hammer that was outside and load it into their vehicle and make off, a registration was taken and investigation ongoing.
Impington – Kendal Court
Theft of pedal cycle took place between 10.15 -17.45 hrs on 27/11, owner left their cycle locked and secured to the racks and when they returned found the lock cut and laying on the ground.
Impington – New Road
Theft of pedal cycle took place outside the sports centre, next to the college between 8.45 -13.40hrs cycle was locked and secured next to a fence and when owner returned found his cycle gone and lock cut in half and laying on the ground.

Reminder for all Cambourne area residents, there will be a police surgery / crime prevention advice held this Saturday between 2-4pm at the Morrison’s store on Broad Street, Cambourne. Where a local neighbourhood officer will be displaying some crime prevention material in the entrance foyer closest to the main car park.
