We are investigating the following crimes that have been reported in the last 24 hours. This is not an exhaustive list of crimes that we are investigating but ones we would like to make you aware of and require further information on.
Car Park Tesco – Yarrow Road, 20/11/2018 16:50. Theft from motor vehicle.
Whilst the victim was returning the shopping trolley an unknown male entered a car and stole a handbag. CR 35/46444/18.
St Edmunds Way Hauxton, between 20/11/2018 06:00 to 20/11/2018 19:20, attempt dwelling burglary. An attempt has been made to gain entry to a property via a ground floor window. CR 35/46485/18.
Collier Way Stapleford, between 20/11/2018 08:45 to 20/11/2018 21:10, residential burglary.
Entry has been gained by forcing French Doors, items taken. CR 35/46536/18.
Royston Road, Whittlesford, between 19/11/2018 07:00 to 21/11/2018 07:00 front and rear licence plates were stolen from a vehicle whilst it was parked at the location. CR 35/46626/18.
Clayhithe Road, Horningsea, between 21/11/2018 15:15 to 21/11/2018 15:30 business burglary, Suspects have broken into 3 sheds that hold farm machinery and removed this property by loading into a waiting vehicle a dark blue transit type vehicle. CR 35/46691/18.
Quy Mill Hotel, Church Road, Stow-cum-Quy, between 12:15 to 13:00 on 22/11/ the victim’s wallet was stolen from a meeting room. CR 35/46900/18.
A428 Dual Carriageway Section Westbound to Caxton off Slip to Cambourne, between 20/11/2018 19:30 to 21/11/2018 06:30 diesel has been syphoned from a lorry whilst it was parked in a layby. CR 35/46560/18.
Anglian Water - Dunn - Sluice Works, Gamblingay Rd, Gamblingay between 20/11/2018 08:30 to 21/11/2018 07:35 the site was broken in to and goods stolen. CR 35/46564/18.
Greenwich Court, Greenwich Barns, Comberton Road, Toft, between 20/11/2018 18:00 to 21/11/2018 08:00, Non-dwelling burglary, items were taken from in store and at the front of the house. CR 35/46602/18.
Building Site, New Road, Melbourn, between 21/11/2018 17:00 to 22/11/2018 06:30, unknown suspects have broken into the building site. Various items have been taken amounting to thousands of pounds. 4 Containers have also been damaged along with a strong box taken from the office. It looks like the suspects have used a dumper truck to ram the containers. CR 35/46814/18.
Morden House, Trap Road, Guilden Morden, between 21/11/2018 16:00 to 22/11/2018 07:15, the property is currently under construction and is not habitable, Messenger Construction are carrying out the work. From the outside it is obvious the house is a build site as there is various signage stating that. Between the above times unknown suspects gained entry to the property by walking around the side of the building and forcibly opening the rear door which was wooden, once inside they stole various items including tools and radios. After stealing the items from inside they went outside to where the sheds were located, 2/6 sheds were broken into and had items stolen from them. All of the sheds are brick built with wooden doors which meant the suspects were able to force open the wooden doors to get inside. CR 35/46838/18.
Junction, A14, Huntingdon Road, Bar Hill, between 20/11/2018 07:00 to 21/11/2018 07:00, Unknown suspect has used machinery to place a tonne breaker on the ground and remove it from the excavator. This has then been driven away from the scene which is a compound where works are being carried out. CR 35/46725/18.
School Hill, Histon, between 21/11/2018 19:20 to 21/11/2018 20:35, a window of a vehicle was smashed and a handbag that was in the footwell stolen. CR 35/46746/18.
Guided Busway, Impington, between 21/11/2018 18:30 to 22/11/2018 08:00, At 1830hrs 21/11/2018, the victim left his orange Carrera Vengeance bicycle locked and secured at the Histon & Impington Guided Busway. The bicycle was locked via the front wheel. The victim has returned to find that the front wheel has been detached from the frame, and the frame had been stolen. This bicycle is only 1 week old so is in perfect condition. CR 35/46821/18.
Saxon Way, Willingham, between 12:30 and 15:30 front and rear licence plates have been stolen from a vehicle. CR 35/46945/18.
