Just a reminder to residents in rural villages surrounding Willingham to keep an eye out for any suspicious vehicles parked down quiet lanes or dead end roads and call 101 if no neighbours own them.
Yesterday (17/11/18) a resident of Over reported a suspicious vehicle having been parked on Anglesey Way, Over. This vehicle was a White Nissan GT which was stolen from Sandy in Beds on the 13/11/18. This vehicle was used in a number of crimes in Cambs on flase plates and as a result of the report we managed to recover the vehicle back to the owner.
If you can pay attention to any high powered vehicles and 4x4’s which aren’t normally parked in the area for a period of days, if vehicles are seen speak to your neighbours and see if they know who owns them and if no one knows please phone 101 so checks can be carried out, or report via webchat.
If you have any information relating to the crimes reported, please contact the police on 101. Or if you wish to remain anonymous please call crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.
Remember to report anything suspicious in your area on either 101 non-emergency number or 999 in an emergency.
Thank you for your continued help & support.
