A man involved in drug dealing in Peterborough has been jailed after officers stopped a vehicle in Millfield, uncovering evidence of cocaine and cannabis supply.
On 11 December last year, officers from our Neighbourhood Support Team stopped a car in Hankey Street. A search of the vehicle and its occupants led to the discovery of cannabis packaged for sale, drug-related paraphernalia and mobile phones linked to the supply of cocaine.
Following an investigation, Abdul Kareem, 20, of Cromwell Road, Millfield, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court on 28 July where he was sentenced to 22 months in prison after admitting offences relating to the supply of cocaine and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
A second man, Husnain Mahmood, 19, of Lawn Avenue, New England, received a suspended prison sentence after admitting possession with intent to supply cannabis and driving without insurance.

Spot the signs of drug dealing: Frequent short visits to an address at all hours. Unusual levels of visitors or vehicle activity. Exchanges taking place in the street or parked vehicles. Drug-related litter such as small bags, wraps or canisters.
