Dear Resident, Last week, your local neighbourhood officers were on their late shifts, carrying out a range of activity as part of their work to tackle your concerns. Some of the highlights include: Arresting a 44-year-old man in Whitsed Street, Eastfield, on suspicion of drug supply offences after he was found in possession of class A drugs during a stop search.Hosting a pop-up engagement event in Central Park, giving you the chance to speak with us about local issues. Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat with us, it was great to meet you all.Seizing cannabis from a 32-year-old man after he was caught smoking it in Central Park. He was issued with a Community Resolution, an out-of-court disposal where the offender accepts responsibility without going through formal court proceedings. As part of this, the man is required to carry out learning about the dangers of cannabis use. This is all part of their work to tackle their current priorities.
