Student's tragic murder features on podcast |
Dear Resident,
The heart-breaking murder of a student is the latest topic discussed in our gripping behind-the-scenes podcast series, Cambs Cops: Our Stories. ‘Wrong place, wrong time’ follows the tragic killing of student Mohammed Algasim in Cambridge back in August last year. Spending a summer's evening talking to friends, sitting on a wall in the city centre, his life was taken in a random knife attack and in the podcast, we spoke to the senior investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Dale Mepstead. Other topics we dive into in the series include the murder of pensioner Una Crown, an insight into policing the roads of the county with our traffic officers and a conversation with two of our Special constables. The all-action series gives you exclusive and first-hand access to real experiences and behind-the-scenes content you won't find anywhere else. We've also got episodes featuring policing Peterborough United, a survivor of sexual offences and a victim of romance fraud.
