A week in the life of response officers across East Cambridgeshire |
||
|
Dear Resident,
We often say no two days are the same in policing, and for our response officers, that couldn’t be more true.
Their day began with a call reporting a four-year-old girl wondering alone in Ely. Officers quickly attended and, thankfully, found she wasn’t far from home. She was safely reunited with her parents.
Throughout the day, officers were also called to: Reports of vehicle nuisance in Ely
They also responded to a number of other incidents, including: Missing persons
Later, officers were called following reports of a man smashing windows at a pub in Wilburton. Although the suspect had left the scene before officers arrived, crimes have been raised and enquiries are ongoing.

Kind regards, Annabelle Mullee
