Closure order for Ramsey Home

A three-month closure order has been placed on a Ramsey home following concerns about anti-social behaviour.

Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court issued the order closing 17 Mallards Close, Ramsey, PE26 2AE, on Thursday (9 April) following an application from Cambridgeshire Constabulary’s Huntingdon Neighbourhood Team.

A partial closure order was granted, and the property will be closed for three months.

PC Sam Lokuliyanage- Perera, from the Neighbourhood team, said: “People living near the property have had to put up with months of anti-social behaviour.

“The partial closure order will allow the tenant to remain living at the address but will prevent those who have been attending to commit anti-social behaviour and other criminal offences.”

The partial closure order states the premises be closed in accordance with the Anti-Social Behaviour and Policing Act 2014. No one is permitted to enter except the tenant, the landlord and the emergency services until 8 July 2026.

If anyone is found on the premises unlawfully, they render themselves liable for arrest.
