Warning following attempted burglaries

Dear Resident,

Police are warning farmers and those who own agricultural vehicles to be vigilant following a attempted burglaries overnight in Chatteris and Coveney.

As well as increasing our patrols in rural areas, we’re encouraging farmers to be vigilant and take steps to protect their machinery.

You can help protect it by:

🚜Securing your property by using trackers, alarms, or an immobiliser

🚜Removing any keys whilst the machinery is unattended

🚜Mark your property to make it identifiable if it needs to be recovered

🚜Park tractors and agricultural vehicles in secure, alarmed buildings or in well-lit areas covered by CCTV.
