Cannabis factory uncovered

What began as a call reporting concerns for an individual in Ellindon, Bretton, yesterday afternoon ended up being much more for our response officers.

After discovering an electricity box that appeared to be bypassed – posing a significant fire risk – officers forced entry into a house and uncovered a cannabis farm.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis after a brief attempt to hide in the loft and escape via the roof. He has since been bailed while investigations continue.
