Patrols following concerns about vehicle crime

Dear Resident,

Officers have recently been patrolling the Stanground and Cardea area following concerns about theft from vehicles.

When leaving your car, even for a few minutes, it is important to always make sure you:

🚗Check it is locked

🚗Close all windows

🚗Hide electrical items and take any valuables or documents with you

🚗Park in well-lit and busier areas

A few minutes is all the time opportunistic thieves may need to take advantage of vehicles left vulnerable.
