Community update – Cambridge Quarterly Meeting

Dear Resident,

Thank you to everyone who attended our meeting last night. For those who couldn’t join, here’s what was discussed:

New priorities for the next three months:

Vehicle-related anti-social behaviour, particularly in Fitzroy Street

Knife crime

Updates on previous priorities:

City & West: Anti-social behaviour in Fitzroy Street and Burleigh Street
Action: Area adopted under Op Dante, with dedicated uniform patrols at key times.

South: Speeding on Granham’s Road and Babraham Road
Action: South Cambs Neighbourhood Team working with local councils. Dispersals issued at the Park & Ride site on several occasions.

East: Coldham’s Lane parking issues
Action: No reports since June 2025. We continue to monitor, but parking enforcement is managed by Cambridgeshire County Council.

North: Speeding on Histon Road and Victoria Road
Action: Multiple patrols carried out. Most drivers compliant; several given advice and one ticket issued.
