Dear Resident, We have launched an investigation following the theft of a large quantity of cabling from emergency generators being used to provide power to homes and the school in Northstowe.
The force was contacted just after midnight with reports of suspicious activity in the area. Officers and the dog unit attended but no arrests have been made.
This latest incident follows on from a fire which took place at the electricity substation on Monday evening, the cause of which is being investigated by Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue.
