Starting your Christmas shopping this Black Friday?

Dear Resident,

Here’s a quick reminder to keep your possessions safe over the festive season:

Don’t leave items unattended, a phone or wallet can be snatched from a table in seconds.

Stay alert when using your mobile and be aware of your surroundings.

Put valuables away securely, use a zipped pocket or bag, and avoid leaving them in a back trouser pocket.

Officers will be on patrol but if you notice anything suspicious, call 999 and tell security or a member of shop staff.

Don’t let the pickpockets ruin your day!
