Cabling stolen from Leighton Bromswold

Dear Resident,

We're investigating after a large quantity of cabling was stolen overnight in Leighton Bromswold.

Officers were called to the village at around 2.25am today. Two vehicles — a Nissan Terrano and a blue hatchback — were seen leaving the area.

Following a police pursuit, the Nissan was abandoned near the A14, where officers recovered a significant amount of coiled cabling.

No arrests have been made at this stage, and enquiries are ongoing.
