We’ve increased patrols in the city centre as part of a national campaign aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour hotspots.
The Safer Streets Summer initiative focusses on preventing crime by showing an increased policing presence in city centres.
While patrolling in July, officers made multiple arrests, including for shoplifting and drug offences, enforced Public Space Protection Orders, conducted stop searches and engaged with local businesses.
Other activity has included seizing more than 20 e-scooters and issuing tickets for traffic offences.
