Dear Resident,
We’ve increased patrols in Wisbech as part of a national campaign aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour.
The Safer Streets Summer initiative focusses on preventing crime by showing an increased policing presence in hotspot areas.
While patrolling in July, officers made multiple arrests, including for drug offences, as well as enforcing court orders, issuing tickets for traffic offences and talking to local businesses concerning retail crime.
They also enjoyed saying hello to members of the public while out and about. Thank you for everyone who spoke to us.
