Are you the owner of a motorbike or moped?

Dear Resident,

Here's three ways to help keep your motorbike or moped secure from thieves:

 

  • Lock - Use a disc lock to help secure the front brake disc or a D lock on the front wheel to stop your moped being wheeled away.
  • Chain -Use a chain lock through the back wheel, this will prevent thieves from wheeling it away!
  • Cover - Make sure to cover your motorbike or moped. Thieves are often on the look out for particular bike models, this will instantly make it less attractive to them! 

    • Most importantly if you see something that doesn't look right, then it probably isn't. 

     

    Always call 999 in an emergency.
