Dear Resident,

We attended a multi-agency meeting at Broadway Cemetery in Eastfield this morning to discuss issues around drug use and its associated anti-social behaviour (ASB).

The meeting was attended by Aspire, officers from Peterborough City Council’s outreach team, cemetery operators, Aragon services, and local residents.

It was a very productive meeting where we discussed issues such as discarded needles being left in the cemetery. We were able to talk about the work that has already been happening in the area, and look at ways that we can work together in the future.

Drug use and its associated ASB in Broadway Cemetery is one of the current priorities for the local neighbourhood policing team and we will continue our regular patrols of the area, engaging with those we see about their concerns.
