Young people give their input on local policing

Dear Resident,

Yesterday, one of our northern neighbourhood PCSOs and our Peterborough safer schools officer attended Jack Hunt school to talk to the year 11 students that are taking GCSE Citizenship.

As part of their work, they have completed a project around local policing in the area, crime and how it affects young people. Their presentations covered issues such as county lines, drug dealing, knife crime as well as giving their own insights into what they would like to see our neighbourhood teams do to make Peterborough a better and safer place to live.

It was amazing to hear all of this from so many young people and hear their ideas of what they want to see us do in order to make the future better in the city.

Did you know anyone of any age can raise their concerns to us? You can do so here.

Kind regards,
