Motorcross bike seized in Castor

Dear Resident,

Last night, whilst enroute to a community meeting in Castor, we came across a motorcross bike that had no numberplate.

When we stopped and spoke to the rider, they told us they had only bought the bike yesterday and was on their way home after riding it in some fields in the village. Checks were carried out and turns out that not only was the vehicle uninsured, but the rider did not have a licence!

The vehicle has been seized and the rider has been reported for the offences.

Even though we ended up being late to our meeting, it all turned out okay as the bike had been seen around the village earlier in the day and residents were not happy about it, so that was a bit of good news we started the meeting off with!

We have received concerns from you about nuisance driving in the area, particularly with offroad bikes, and is something that we do work at tackling, but we need your help! For more information around vehicle nuisance, and advice on how to report it, please visit our website.

Kind regards,
