Dear Resident,

As we were doing patrols in Millfield earlier today, we came bumper to bumper with a vehicle driving the wrong way down a one-way system at The Triangle, and the driver suddenly started reversing out when they noticed us!

We stopped the driver to have a chat, and he told us he had just borrowed a friend’s car for ten minutes! Checks on the vehicle revealed it was not insured, and the driver did not hold a valid UK driver’s licence. 

We have seized the vehicle and reported the driver for the offences.
