Welcome to the April edition of your neighbourhood policing newsletter.
April has been a quieter month for us in terms of proactive activity with the Easter break and many officers taking time off to spend with their families.
However, we’ve got out as much as we can, addressing your concerns.
We’ve been carrying out anti-social behaviour patrols in as many villages as we can while our PCSOs have held a number of coffee with a cop events including in Cambourne, Papworth and Croydon most recently.
Our bike marking events continue to be popular and we hope to hold more in the future. We’ll keep you posted.
Our Rural Crime Action Team have shared news on the good work they’ve been doing over the past year including recovering just under one million pounds worth of suspected stolen property. Read more about the work of the team on our website.
Before we update you next month, we’ll be holding our online community meeting which everyone is welcome to attend on 22nd May at 7pm. If you can’t make it then we encourage you to share your concerns with us in advance.
Kind Regards,
Sergeant Jack Hughes
South Cambridgeshire Neighbourhood Policing Team

Finally, your information helps us to understand the types of issues affecting you and your local community and informs our quarterly neighbourhood policing priorities. To have your say, please head to our community policing survey.
Please DO NOT use this form to report a crime – this should be done either via our website’s online reporting forms or webchat service, or by calling 101. Always dial 999 in an emergency.
